Gem and Clay is a dream job for her! She is thrilled to work around beauty with such talented and inspiring people! Kathleen finds inspiration in nature and people. She is so grateful to be working on designing beautiful, comfortable spaces and form relationships with coworkers and the larger community. When Jenn is not busy scrolling through Pinterest you can find her at the gym, trying out new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, or fawning over her dogs Gimli and Hank.

Emilie Joyner – Interior Designer

Emilie has loved style and design for as long as she can remember. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Liberty University, she has enjoyed the last 10+ years working with clients across the nation from North Carolina to California and now Florida, helping them connect with their space by creating environments that enrich lives and spark inspiration in the places we call home. To Emilie, her world travels are more than just a personal adventure, they have enriched her design process and provided her with a unique, global perspective on design, allowing her to draw inspiration from diverse cultures, landscapes, and architectural styles. Living abroad in Australia, in particular, broadened her understanding of how design interacts with nature, which continues to influence her work today.

Outside of the grand adventures of design and travel, Emilie finds joy in the simple pleasures of life with hosting gatherings, beautiful table settings (fueling her glassware obsession), and getting creative in the kitchen. She loves to be outdoors, especially by the ocean, and currently resides in Florida where you can find her by the beach in the majority of her free time.
