Allison Smith
Allison Smith founded Gem and Clay Interiors, a full-service interior design firm, after a lifetime of making art and studying history, plus a decade of designing interiors alongside her other career. She believes in creating stylish and meaningful environments that truly inspire, nurture and serve. Equally important is the journey to achieving these spaces. Our team works with some of the most skilled architects, builders, contractors, artisans, makers and service partners across many states, collaborating in beautiful ways to bring new environments into being. We also search near and far to collect, curate and design the best products to fill the spaces we design.
Through artistic eyes and curious spirits, Allison and her team designs spaces of all kinds…from corporate environments and photography sets to the most intimate of spaces – the home. All are crafted with a holistic perspective of design and the team’s unique compendium of skills.
GEM AND CLAY OHIO
Gem and Clay Interiors was founded in Northeast Ohio and serves clients in Cleveland, Akron and the surrounding communities. We provide interior design services for all types of residential and commercial design and construction projects. Our Ohio office is located in Bath, near the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park and less than 30 miles from Lake Erie. We are inspired by the nature that surrounds us, and the varied geography and architecture of this area.

GEM AND CLAY FLORIDA
Gem and Clay Interiors also serves clients in Northeast Florida. Located in beautiful St. Augustine, we work in and around Jacksonville, providing interior design and styling to homeowners and businesses in Ponte Vedre, St. Augustine and even over to Orlando. From full-service design for new construction, to renovation and furnishing projects, we offer a variety of services to meet the design needs of our Florida neighbors. We also work with photographers, business owners and realtors in Florida to provide interior and prop styling.
