Fox Hill Remodel

Designed for a busy family with a love for both Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics, this project embraces a refined Japandi approach—balancing warmth, simplicity, and thoughtful craftsmanship throughout the home. While Japanese-inspired design is unexpected within the home’s classic colonial architecture, the contrast creates a striking yet harmonious result that feels both fresh and timeless. In the family room, a once-dated fireplace with heavy wood detailing was reimagined with a dark plaster surround and flanked by sleek, custom walnut cabinetry, creating a calm yet grounded focal point. The adjacent sunroom was elevated with a fully paneled wood ceiling that thoughtfully integrates existing skylights, paired with updated flooring for a cohesive feel. We fully furnished both the living room and sunroom with custom furnishings, layered décor, and tailored window treatments to support everyday family living. A newly refreshed dining room completed the transformation, where we guided selections for paint, lighting, furniture, rugs, and custom window treatments to ensure the space felt seamlessly connected to the rest of the home.
